Container Park Co-Working Space – Fostering Innovation and Community Engagement

September 5, 2023 : 4:00 pm

Today, we are proud to celebrate the opening of the Container Park Co-Working Space in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development and Business Center Corporation. This visionary project was designed to strengthen the local start-up scene, facilitate a nurturing environment and supplement them with technical support and essential resources.

The goal of this project is to transform Hulhumalé into a thriving hub of innovation, creativity and opportunity. The newly opened space is equipped with 16 workstations and meeting room facilities to cater to the rising demand for co-working spaces, especially among start-ups and emerging entrepreneurs. In the future, the space will be developed further to include a takeaway café, fast food outlet and a public gathering area.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Ministry of Economic Development and the Business Centre Corporation (BCC), those opting for the space will benefit from the Business Centre Corporation’s extensive advisory services, which offer guidance in business planning, marketing, administration, human resource management, financial planning, and bookkeeping.

We hope that by providing a state-of-the-art co-working space, we can stimulate creativity and innovation, ultimately leading to the development of new prospects and ventures. To encourage emerging entrepreneurs to utilize the space, we are offering the first month of the co-working space usage free of charge.

This project reflects our dedication to urban development, innovation and the empowerment of the community. We invite dreamers, entrepreneurs and the youth to be a part of this exciting journey as we develop a smart and sustainable city.
